Well, the Feds are reading everything on the platform,
and there are reporters from national media here,
so if either of those make you feel unsafe, they're here.

If you mean "will people say mean things?", some will.

If you mean "If I get 50K followers for my Substack,
can I get cancelled?", yup.

One big thing Bsky does differently is the nuclear block
- if you block somebody, their replies to you get disconnected from the thread, so they aren't there for everybody else to pile on and attack you or them or both.
It makes trolling and harassing people much harder
and cuts down on toxic fights
