...and in a bizarre swap of cause and effect, it may also receive an encore performance the night before its premiere (no I don't understand either) at the Jazz Gallery in NYC. Philly concert = free, NY concert = $$$. Lineup of the NY concert not announced until Saturday AM, which is frustrating.

As the parent of a relatively recent Montclair State grad, one of the things I liked about the school was that it seemed to be a solid meat and potatoes-style State University. The kind of academic doublespeak they're using here fascinates and amuses me, but I would have steered my kid elsewhere..
