As soon as you employ for profit organisations then it becomes all about money. We see that in aged care, in job training institutions, in childcare etc. But Australian politics doesn’t see to learn from their mistakes.

It's almost like they are too stupid to learn, but they can't all be that dumb. So the simplest, most obvious answer would have to be - corruption.

But what makes it even worse, is how many of punters know this implicitly and still they keep voting for them. Every single time.

Now THAT is dumb.

Where I am we have one neoliberal newspaper and TV owned by the billionaires. In the bush they often only have access to Sky. The newspaper is delivered religiously to any captive audience, aged care, hospitals, cafes etc. That’s a big audience subject to skewed analysis of events.

Selling off public assets is easy but trying to get them back is just about impossible. Can you imagine MSM's bombardment of communism accusations etc. Before any reasonable advance can be made we have to have a Murdoch RC
