Both Andrew. The honey bee, APIS genus (about 30 varieties in the world), out of 26,000 species, but also carpenter bees, osmia, and all the other pollinators.

My name MEANS Bee.

I knew a Deborah who embraced the meaning of our name to the point she had images of bees everywhere. Little bee replicas, bee pictures, bee everything. My grandfather used to give me honey comb as a gift whenever he visited us in Wenatchee from Des Moines, Iowa.

We planted syllphie which is an amazing plant. Especially for bees. Due to the rough surface, crawling insects just do not climb up thus not hunting bees during they drink water which collects at the leaves. It has enormous amounts of nectar during a time period where there is a natural shortage.
