Holy shit. Dubs today generally range from "pretty good" to "some of the best damn voice acting I've ever heard", and Amazon's supposed to have a ton of money, there's no excuse here.

Yeah, when they pony up for American union dubs the results are usually pretty good. It's when they cheap out and go to South Africa (or experiment with AI) that shit gets BAD.

That said... looking at ANN credits, a few of the FOTNS cast look to be South African. A few have been in One Piece LA and Dinner Table Detective. Guessing poor direction choices are at fault here.

I liked the dub for Dinner Table Detective. They seemed to use people who acted in local TV production (the lead voice was in One Piece LA it looks?). Curious what the origins of the new FOTNS dub are... hope the new GITS has a US or Canadian dub tho

Shit this is worse than some 90's dubs. Berserk's dub wasn't that bad. Shit 4Kids worst dubs at the very least had voice actors who were trying to preform
