Chinese company and an EU company at the same time are a very interesting combo, especially in terms of privacy. If they really want to appeal to Linux users, especially when saying they're a private browser, they should open source GX. Especially with the problems they've had in the past.
Though, has GX specifically had any privacy concerns? I've never been one to see a Chinese company in charge of something(even partially) and instantly thought "SPYWARE". Seeing how the Linux community can be a bit... overzealous(understatement) makes me curious how bad this browser actually is.
