I don't mean to dunk on her english VA, but I feel like this sentiment against Zelda is pretty much exclusive to anglophones? The right voice can change perception a lot.
That said, people who don't understand her struggle and growth are heartless.

This is going to sound terribly rude of me, this is just a preference, but I largely prefer the Japanese dub because of Zelda’s English dub accent 😭 THATS SUPER RUDE but I can’t really explain why it irks me >< It’s wildly iconic, though!
