What were you talking about then, the second Oshii movie? Or the live action one that wasn't a remake either? The Arise movie that got the most Nintendo title a movie can get? The web shorts? The movie about old people kidnapping Togusa's kid? None of them are remakes.

There's GITS 2.0 but that's just like a director's cut where they redid the CGI shots in the style of GITS 2 and clashes with the actual movie the shots were inserted into.
