Dumb. Dumb AF. Why do so many otherwise rational people think that "impeach" is a magic word?

Or think that repeating "convict and remove" here will convince a Senate dominated by craven Trump toadies to do so???

We won't get 2/3s of the Senate for years, at best.
If ever.

Candidates should educate their audience, not just feed them slogans.
Do they know that w/o House Dems majority & 2/3 Senate vote, NO ONE can be impeached & removed?
Or that Dems impeached Trump TWICE & GOP Senate refused to remove him?
Or that refusing to vote Dem since '16 is how we got here?

Seems a LOT of people suddenly interested in politics don't know anything about US govt, doesn't it?

In any case, I'd have expected "Tim Onion" of all people to know impeachment is meaningless w/o conviction, and both are impossible right now. That constant demand irritates me.
