I don't like blocking people for disagreements since it tends to lead to an echo chamber, but seriously people need to stop thinking getting blocked is a win.

I find disagreements can swing in two directions. On one end: "I like matcha. You don't. We can live with each other's preferences." On the other end of the spectrum, "Your existence is revolting to me and if you and your family were wiped out I would be glad" should really be worthy of blocking.

It's no bad thing to curate your social media experience. We walk away from or ignore people playing insanely loud music on public transit, and that hardly makes an echo chamber. :)
