My work place is about to fire 1/3 of our staff due to AI. I wish I could shout this from the rooftops. Efficiency is good but it is not an end in itself and it’s the enemy of growth.

I also just don't get how everyone firing their staff in favour of AI is supposed to help a country's economy.
