California should no longer be forced to pay enough taxes to the federal government to pay for about 10 or more red states welfare. Same for all big blue states paying for ALL the red states besides texas and florida. F*ck the red states including texas and florida.

Here’s an example: cuts to the US Forest Service & NIH are gutting Hamilton, MT. Lots of scientists, administrators, maintenance workers, forestry officials, & wildfire response/firefighting crews out of work. In a small town like Hamilton, this is economically devastating.

The job losses in Hamilton are federal employees. But other communities with major universities or research institutes will suffer a similar fate as grants are annihilated for no reason other than being deemed too DEI or being about COVID or vaccines.
