Where are the privacy settings on this app? As soon as I created my account, bots quickly joined in. I want to get rid of them. I have not created any posts as a result of this security risk. I'm strongly considering closing the account and leaving Bluesky altogether. I want my account private.

Bluesky is OPEN - you can't really have a private account.

Security Settings are in "Settings" - you can control / filter A LOT of what you see & how people interact with you (block anyone you like), however anyone can see what you post (except in private DMs) - thats the nature of this beast.

No I follow a variety of accounts; nature, photography, animals, political. I still get followed by bots and people I would not like to be associated with. I teach young children and for my personal safety do not want association with any "working" accounts.

I'm having a very similar issue, 162 followers, zero post except replies to others, and I can't see anyone who is following me. I'm also getting followed by 10-15 bot accounts daily that I block as soon as I notice.
