Latinos in L.A. did NOT keep Villar's creepiness a "secret", but whites in Sacramento sure as hell kept Swalwell's a secret.

Eeveryone who ever told me anything bad about Antonio, including to never be alone with him was Latino. But LA, so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Antonio’s last affair came out because it was with a reporter, and iirc she’d have lost her job if she hadn’t reported on it. It had gone on for years.

Swalwell is a likable guy with a rep for drinking with interns, but I’d have to check with younger friends for anything more, so what am I—or a reporter—supposed to do with that?

I can warn young people to be careful, but I can’t take it to a reporter, and I know political reporters personally.
