Been studying some Disney movie art styles like Treasure Planet, Atlantis, and some others. I always loved how they did expressions so maybe I'll study that next time!
The Character Design References website was really helpful for this!

Wow, I didn't realize that solatarobo has a decent sized fan base. What got you interested in the game, and if you've played it, what's it like? As someone who enjoyed rpgs like the older final fantasies and pokemon mystery dungeon games, I'm hoping that I'll have a good time once I get it.

Overall I highly recommend it! (they really need to re-release it or remake it) Also recommend the Fuga games, they're from the same series and are more like traditional tactical RPGs than Solatorobo, and unlike solatorobo they're on every console out rn

I got into it because I was fascinated by the opening when I was a teen, but when I finally played it I fell in love with the world-building and characters, but the game itself was really fun too! It's more of an action platformer with RPG elements with a good gameplay loop that is cozy to play imo

Love art showing off how Chocolat is REALLY fluffy. She is a pom after all.
