I’ve had a good, productive, successful life, but that right there was why I’m here.

Yes! I nearly drowned in a pool when I was six. Plenty of adults 'watching' and ignoring. I remember being submerged and looking up at the surface and just accepting I would die now. Finally someone's mum pulled me out - and I don't think they even realised they saved a life that day.

I almost drowned in a pool at age 4. I think I somehow re-surfaced on my own, because I have been told I popped up crying. I don't know how.
