it's so shitty that there's zero consequence for not disclosing ai usage on steam. why would anyone actually do it if the punishment for not doing so is "haha can you please disclose it pretty please :("

i think if u fail to disclose that ur game was made with ai u should be executed

no but like. at the very least there should be SOMETHING. i know steam isn't brave enough to straight up remove a game from steam for this but idk maybe a 3 strike system or something

steam will sometimes refund a game like that (if you are v lucky and send in a support request instead of the regular refund form, in my case), but unfortunately i don't think gamers generally care to make that happen enough that that would ever end up being a serious hit to these studios' finances
