This is a bit I don't know, like a straw-man. NATO made maneuvers which Russia severely did not like, and Russia responded aggressively, its more-so a tragedy than a clear belligerent bad guy, is Putin bad? Yes. Are the politicians who gain money from this bad? Definitely. Is it only Russia? No.

Well I mean they did, they knew Russia would invade when they made a move to make Ukraine join NATO, I don't see how as soon as NATO begins the process Russia immediately reinforces their forces in the border, it's simply the way it is.

It most certainly is Russia only. Neighbouring countries choosing democratically to join NATO has nothing to do with it.

Do I think they should join NATO, yeah why not, would that incite a war? Yeah. The citizens of Ukraine certainly have suffered the political movements between NATO and Russia, the only winners are the people at the top.
