If Los Angeles City Attorney Hydee Feldstein-Soto was written as a character in a courtroom TV drama, nobody would believe it.

With a backstory like this, the writers 100% would have to give her a story arc about a bonkers data leak.

Unfortunately it’s all real.

Did this leak reveal all those LAPD personnel records related to misconduct that they’ve been able to conceal for decades?

Unclear so far. Not widely available and I’ve only seen news reports. I would speculate it’s very likely to include not all but many, given 7.7 TB size and reports of how these were files for settlements that would presumably have kept potential misconduct records from release.

I mean, Relativity is designed for like FOIA responses... I'm guessing it might keep some detailed usage logs

She’s also an alcoholic right? Talk about a character.

And the Citibank thing too right? I knew someone who used to work for the city council who said she's banned from every branch due to various legal threats she made in connection with her divorce.

I’ve heard something like that but never found a reliable report that backs it up. Certainly more great fodder for a fictional TV show character, though.

There was also some email sign off she had with a cringey sword reference. Obviously metaphorical, but still “am I really reading this?” stuff.
