There’s a pair that nest in my neighborhood & it’s such a treat to watch them fish.

It would be so much fun to see them every day! I have one who visits the lake behind my house now and then and it's always a special treat! But I often just hear him and can't spot him.

I'm so glad you like the photo! I've seen kingfishers in Discovery Park, and also in Washington Park in Anacortes. And a pair used to fish in a creek by my former cabin in North Bend, so they're in river areas, too. I hope you get to see some!
