The billionaires want to blame you for the world they created.

Gen Z doesn’t “want” several part-time roles any more than they want their healthcare to not be covered.

That’s why, we’re standing up for Workers over Billionaires on May 1st.

Join us to fight for a brighter future for every worker!

Have we tried offering Gen z full time employment that keeps a steady schedule and doesn't cut hours at the drop of a hat?

This reminds me of when I would see articles about how my generation was killing restaurants and the diamond industry.

The billionaires also want Gen Z and everyone else to blame boomers for the world billionaires created. Then everyone will cheer when they cut social security and medicare.

I am a boomer, and I admit that I have not had the struggles my children have, but our government was not as corrupt and stealing benefits from ordinary people like they are now. CEOs don't care about anything but how much more money they can make while their employees can't afford food or housing.

Change needs to be forced on this regime. The lot of them have proven they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE. If you don't stick it out together it will Very quickly become every man for themself.

Okay, so I’d like this movement to get more towards the “You should have paid us a living wage 🔥” department and away from the Weekend Warrior movement. It’s time for US to *ACTUALLY AGITATE* and get something done!!! This “movement” is Controlled Opposition now and that’s not enough. 👀🫡

Gen X was told all we'd get are part time rolls, too. Been there. Done that. NOBODY WANTS THAT SHIT. We want steady jobs that pay enough to live.

I think Gen Z COULD prefer more than one job due to impact of social media on brain development/attention. I don’t know. But if that is the case, benefit structures need to change (20 hours covers 50% benefits etc). In general that should be a thing. All or nothing is bs.

Have you considered that one 4 hours day every few months is not really fighting for democracy?

It makes us feel like we're doing something but its not nearly enough.

South Korea jailed their fascist in a matter of weeks after months of protest.

Americans are lazy.

Billionaires make sure workers don't get enough hours to qualify for paid healthcare insurance so people need two jobs to get 40 hours of work

It is propaganda. Corporate-sponsored pensions already disappeared without a trace and with no fanfare - one day they were gone. Congress said nothing. The President said nothing. The media said nothing.

Gen Z probably just doesn't want to work a traditional schedule, but they want to make enough money to eat, pay their bills, and have a life.

The billionaires are always looking for a scapegoat. Age after age. Generation after generation. Billionaires shouldn't exist. There should be an income cap at 999,999,999. Any more than that, and the remainder goes to anything that decreases national poverty. Someone make a bill.

Almost every article that generalizes about a generation is false junk, but very successful in generating clicks, engagement, and ad impressions

The @50501movement.bsky.social community can take action today: 1) Require all of your 2026 candidates and existing incumbents sign the Patients Over Profits Pledge to sever ties formally with The Partnership For America's Health Care Future dark money lobbying organization. patientsoverprofits.org/

2) Publicly endorse Senate Bill 1506/HR 3609 across all of your platforms and channels.

50501 pushing candidates to sign commitments is exactly the right move because it makes the abstract argument operational. Most voters want to know what they're voting for, and signed commitments are one of the few ways to force that clarity.
