Well Graham Platner has a Nazi tattoo & a host of other disturbing incidents in his past & he’s got a whole group of people standing by him.

A tattoo does not make a Nazi.

Only 2 types of people have nazi tattoos.
1. Nazis
2. People who are too stupid to be trusted.

No, but as a fellow Swiss American I wouldn’t put myself forth to exonerate guys with Nazi tattoos

Platner does not display Nazi behavior or
endorse fascist ideology.

The Totenkopf symbol is not exclusive to Nazis.

The Totenkopf (German for "death’s head") symbol in Spain represents both historical military traditions and modern extremist imagery. While linked to the Nazi SS and neo-Nazi groups, it also has historical roots in Spanish military history, such as the 18th-century “Regimiento de la Muerte”.

im not exactly the platner brigade, but if the primary focus of his disappointing behavior is a tattoo he got rid of, what am i supposed to take from this?

id be more concerned about this time a blackwater or his attitudes towards iraqi civilians.

The tat is just the start. Lots of violent, misogynist, bigoted online discourse.
His pivot to "leftist" was abrupt and recent.
He has no qualifications, no experience.
He's supposedly 100% disabled with PTSD and depression, so one wonders if a a stressful job like US senator is a good fit.
