Another bit that hasn't received much attention is who Epstein visited in Moscow (and just how many times he went). In one case it was, and I kid you not, the association of veterans of a KGB/FSB special ops unit called Vympel.

Epstein's visa said that the organisation he was visiting was 'МОО ВЫМПЕЛ' and, building on the work of Novaya Gazeta Europe, I managed to find their now defunct website in the Web Archive.
